Tokenization (token) technology is a method of protecting sensitive data by replacing it with a series of numbers encrypted with an irreversible algorithm. No. Moca cannot access to bank accounts. The bank accounts are managed by the issuer banks.

Yes, you can. You only have to keep your phone number which was used to register Moca account, download app to your new mobile phone and log in with old information.

Currently, Moca is expanding their networks with other banks. Some of banks that have been linked includes: International cards: Visa, Master, JCB - Banks: VPBank, ACB, Vietcombank, OCB, Maritime Bank, HD Bank, Sacombank

The domestic cards that are linked with Moca must be registered for online payment with the host bank in order to link with Moca and do transaction.

According to regulations and management policies of the State Bank of Vietnam, all banks and e-wallets must require users to verify information for financial security purposes and to build a payment platform that minimizes fraud and theft, “money laundering” and other criminal activities. Therefore, collecting personal information is part of the “KYC” process ( “Know Your Customer” ). Moca is committed to protecting Customer’s personal information in accordance with Moca’s privacy policies as well as in compliance with Vietnam’s current information security regulations. Besides, Moca also applies standard technology and certified techniques to ensure the confidentiality of Customer information. We understand your concerns because personal information is a matter of privacy and sensitivity. Therefore, in case the provision of personal information causes inconvenience to you, you can completely withdraw money from your Wallet to transfer it to your bank account at any time you want. You can also remove the ATM card link and stop using the Wallet, although we will be very sad to no longer be able to provide you with payment facilities. According to the regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam, to verify successfully the account, the bank card associated with Moca Wallet must be the primary bank card. The Wallet account is considered invalid if the documents (ID / CCCD / Passport) are not in the same owner as the associated Bank Card. However, we understand that for personal reasons, some users are using the same bank account with others. In this case, only 01 Moca Wallet account can be linked to a Bank card that is being used together. In other words, to avoid possible interruptions when performing authentication, you should delete this ATM card link if you are not the person in your name or if the above card has been used to authenticate one wallet account.
